Our commitment

Mira Homecare wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Pages use headings, landmarks and labels in a meaningful order, and every page has a link to skip to its content.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast; we test every colour pair the site uses.
• Motion is gentle and stops completely when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Images carry text descriptions; decorative shapes are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have visible labels, explain what each field is for, and say clearly when something needs fixing.
• The website is available in English and Somali.

Known limitations

• Our privacy policy, terms of use and this statement are in English only for now.
• Our Somali text is being reviewed by a fluent speaker and may contain errors until then.
