Who we are
Mira Homecare (“we”, “us”) is a home care agency in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing Community First Services and Supports (CFSS). This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.
This website is not where your care records live
If you or someone you care for receives services from us, your health information is protected under HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we give you when services begin and which you may ask for at any time. This website does not ask for health information, and we ask you not to send any through it.
What we collect
- Request care form: your name, a phone number or email, and the message you choose to write.
- Careers form: your name, a phone number or email, your city, your message, and a résumé if you attach one.
- Automatically: the language you chose, your browser type, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your connection address, used only to stop automated abuse. We do not keep the address itself.
How we use it
Only to reply to you: to call or write back about care, or to consider your application. Our office is told by email that a form arrived, with your first name only; what you wrote stays in our secure system, which records who reads it. We do not sell what you send, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets one small cookie that remembers your language. It uses no advertising cookies, no analytics service and no tracking pixels. Staff who sign in to our system receive the cookies that sign-in needs.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and email providers process what you send on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect it. We disclose information to others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep care requests and job applications only as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our legal obligations. If they become part of a service record or an employment record, those records have their own legal retention periods.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling (206) 898-2676 or writing to info@mirahomecare.com.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it.
